‍How it works

Collect. Save your empty medicine blister packs from any brand.
Fill. Place them in your satchel and seal it securely.
Return. Drop your sealed satchel into a red Australia Post street posting box or take it to your local post office.

‍
What can go in the satchel?‍

You can recycle:
✅ Empty medicine blister packs from any brand, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines.

‍
Please do not include:
❌ Blister packs still containing medicines, including tablets, capsules, caplets or lozenges.
❌ Outer cardboard packaging – this can go in your household kerbside recycling bin.
❌ Paper leaflets, plastic bags or other packaging.
❌ Batteries, sharps or other hazardous waste.

‍
What happens to your blister pack satchel?

‍Once received at our recycling facility, the satchels are checked and emptied, with the blister packs sorted and processed to recover their plastic and aluminium components. Learn more
The empty satchels are consolidated and sent to our recycling partner, Plastic Forests Pty Ltd, where the plastic is recycled into products such as wheel stops, fence posts and garden edging.
